Greetings from sunny Parkersburg. Young Funk Sung is ready to drop the funk bomb on the Adelphia tonight. It'll be a special show, not only will my parents be in attendance (who I'm sure will be happy they paid for all that college to watch me binge drink and booty dance), but we will have Randraiz Wharton sitting in on the keys, and the always funky Tim Marks sitting in on Alto Sax.
I write this from the living room of our good friend John Radcliff, the very living room that Seth and I rawked out last night. House concerts are awesome. Good times. I love Mojo/Young Funk Sung weekends.
I hope Marietta brings it tonight, cause I'm wearing this vintage 1960's crotchtacular number that I bought off Etsy.com. However, I promise to have a better disposition than the model in the photo. Again, always aiming to make my parents proud.
Sound check at 5. Looking forward to running into everyone and playing some tunes! First, lunch with the aforementioned parents somewhere in Parkersburg/Marietta. See everyone at the show. (which, by the way, is at the Adelphia- 205 2nd Street in Marietta...we go on 'round 10.)
